My top 5 (or 6) favorite lip liners at the moment

Hi there.

Lately, I've been very much into lip liners and lipsticks and all that jazz. I am a matte kind of girl and that's probably why I love wearing lip liners. I don't own a lot of them, because I am not really a lip junkie, so basically, these 6 lipliners are all that I wear, usually with lipstick of top. You will definitely notice a pattern here, because the colors are pretty simillar – to those of you who are not into makeup probably alike and to those of you who are, completely different. Also, I rarely wear these liners on their own and paired with  a lipstick, they can all look completely different, some of them I use just as a base to make the color last longer, some of them I use to darken up the color and so on. Let's get it started!

All of the lip liners I'm talking about are very affordable, none of them is more than 4€ and I think they are  a really good quality. This is the first one, which is from Essence and it is a nude liner, just as the shade suggests; in the nude (technically it's a lip pencil, but whatever).

The next one is this one from Catrice in the shade. It's a light brownish kind of color, it gives you very little color on the lips but I think it looks amazing. Also I love how it twists up, because I HATE sharpening lip pencils. You do have to be careful tho to have your lipes moistruized, because it can be quite drying and pretty hard to apply if not.

On the photo, this one looks exactly like the previous one, but I promise you, it is not, you will se it in the swatched later. This is the one I've been using the most recently, it is from Catrice and it's in the shade Mauve me, Tender! (I know, such a cute name, I can hear Elvis in the backround). I am in loooveee with the mauve-kind of colors.

This one is a twist up lip liner from Essence in the shade Plum cake and that's exactly why I love it, because it a plum color, it's just beautiful.

Another lip pencil (I really despise sharpening), but it's a pretty color tho. It's from Essence, in the shade Soft berry and I love the way that it is so dark.

Tha last one is this one, again a twist up Essence lip liners in the shade Wild berry. This one is so old I don't even know it they still sell it, but it's probably my most used lipliner, I use it under nude, red, brown or vampy lipstick, it's just such an amazing color. I love the fact that it's so dark and unique.

Here are the swatches of the liners, because you can't really see the true color in those photos. I tried my best to capture their exact color in the following photos, but you have to know they do look a tiny bit different in person.

This is it fort his post, I hope you enjoyed it, found it helpful and interesting. I will see you in my next one. If you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments bellow.

Love always,

T
