July Beauty Favorites

As you can see by the title, these are my July favorites as far as regarding beauty. I will also be doing my July non-beauty favorites, just random things that I've been loving through the month, just because if I did them all in one post, it would be way too long.

First thing I'm going to talk about is plain simple. I always have dry lips, but since most of the July has been humid, I didn't want to carry around chapsticks or anything like that, because it could melt. I still wanted to moistruize my lips and that's why I bought this coconut lip butter by Labello and oh my god, it smells so good I want to eat it off my lips every time, haha. Obviously I don't, but I love it because it doesn't melt, it prevents my lips from getting dry and most of all it smells heavenly. The only thing is that you have to make sure your hands are clean since you are aplying it with your fingers.

The next thing is this Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream, which is basically just a moistruizer. I like it, because it is thick but not too thick and with my semi-oily skin, it's harder to find a moistruizer that doesn't make my face all greasy. This one leaves my skin really soft, I love when I apply it before bed and then in the morning when I wake up, my skin looks way better. It is very refreshing as well since it contains winter cherry and aloe vera. 

With all the heat, I've been wearing very minimal makeup if any, mascara, brows, concealer and a lip color, and because of that, I've been putting more effort in my lip colors, because I didn't want me to look too dull. I've been practicing using a lip brush and this one has been my favorite. Obviously I don't use it every day but when dealing with dark bold lips, you have to be careful in order for them to look nice and that is where the brush comes handy.

I don't like painting my nails, but I try to keep them painted all the time, because if I don't, I will bite them like crazy. It's a horrible habbit, but I just can't seem to stop, but when they are painted, I want to keep them tidy, that's why I do it. I typically wear colors like gray, black, white, or any soft pastels, any dark reds, purples, I prefer dark nailpolishes, but by any means not colorful ones. Red nailpolish is as colorful as I would normally go and that is what I did this July and loved it. It's a classic color and it's perfect if you don't like wearing bright colors, but don't want to wear black in the summer. I used Catrice Ultimalte Nail Lacquer in the shade 17 Caught on the red carpet. I have also been loving this Essie nailpolish in the shade lapiz of luxury, because it is such a unique color, still pastel but at the same time very colorful.

For nights out I've been obsessing over Bruno Banani's Magic Woman, it has a very nice scent that it quite strong, but not too in your face.

There are only two more products and one of them has been on my blog quite a few times, it is the Makeup Revolution Makeup Palette in Essential Mattes, just because I think it is a great palette and it is actually the only one I've been using through the month. It is all matte, but it has 3 shades of brown for a perfect brownish look, the same with purple, 2 matte browbone shades, one more yellowy and one more white, a matte black that is an essential (although it is not the blackest black, it is okay), a very unique blue and two blending-in skin colored shades for blending. The colors are pigmented and the price is right, so I've really been loving it.

The last item is also from Makeup Revolution and it is their Cover & Conceal Palette in the shade Light-Medium, which is nice for cream contour and highlight, but is also what I use when I don't want to wear foundation and I want something lighter, but I still want to cover my imperfections which just a normal concealer in one shade can not do. If you set it, it actually lasts pretty well, so I've been really liking that.
